Kalukanda House events - come join us! We’ve been hosting retreats and workshops for playful and relaxed creative exploration and our guests have loved it. From Mindful Movement with @ashleyfargnoli , to Slow Stitching with @roksansarfati and onto Creative Insights with @the.what.if.space

It’s a noisy world right now and we’re feeling your need to retreat to something solid. Come and hide away with us and let us take care of you. Our events are deliberately curated for escapism, and perhaps you’ll learn something about yourself. At very least you will dive into the creative spheres of our hosts, release tension and be plied with attention and delicious food and drink.

The evening show, like clockwork. Every day.

These daily moments in Sri Lanka can’t be taken or owned by anybody. Drive past any ridge or coastline between 6 and 6:30 and you will find countless upturned faces, bathed in fiery red orange light, wide eyed and in awe of a setting sun that drops before your very eyes. Behind the horizon, palms in silhouette, she flows away. Up she comes again the following day as the waxing and waning moon disappears. The cycle restarts until another day is counted down. In a lifetime of setting suns, what do you want today to mean to you? Who do you want to be? What will you do?

Creativity thrives, friendships are sealed, love affairs blossom. No matter what happens. Every damn day. Make a difference ❤️
