90 seconds sharing joy found in a few BTS moments. At Kalukanda House, we’re living in the midst of stunning nature, with intensely coloured flowers attracting pollination, incredible creatures in camouflage, a bevvy of birdlife, life giving trees and the undulating sea. Up close and personal, believe us when we say nature has got the upper hand. When we slow down, time slows ~ and we see that everything has its place in an intricate chain and cycle of life.

We humans are part of the ecosystem, not in charge of it. But In the pursuit of a fast and convenient life, I wonder have we forgotten that and complicated the balance of this delicate chain and cycle, exploiting Earth until she finally spat and slapped us back? (Rhetorical question). Recent events are not un-related coincidences.

Call it out.

Travel slow. Demand equity. Support local. Be curious. Show some respect to local ways of life and what is on offer….and look behind the scenes - because that is where the real gold is. If we don’t preserve it, nature will correct that balance and she’ll be the last one standing 💚
