Best things to do in Weligama ~ here is a little inspiration on just a few ways to spend your days at Kalukanda House. From lounging to curious discovery, there is always something to dip into.

Morning walk to Weligama Beach, a hub of activity where local fishermen haul their catch in on beautiful boats that sit looking out to sea until the next time they push out. Yoga is the perfect way to climb out of a sleepy head and into your body followed by freshly cut seasonal fruit and a breakfast fit for kings. Day trip on elephant safari or visit the only White Tea plantation on the island and then rest in our gardens by the pool breathing in the beauty of tropical wildlife and plants. Swim with turtles and watch the newly hatched babies and float in the Indian Ocean after surfing the peeling gentle waves. Kandy dancers entertain you before a freshly cooked supper made to your taste maybe with the catch of the day, and round off the evening in the cabana with a game of cards while fire flies flit through the trees.
